ARaymond Tinnerman U-Type Fasteners for Spring

ARaymond Tinnerman offers a variety of finishes for all of their products. We especially like these green U-Type single thread engaging self-retaining fasteners. A bit of green for a much needed spring!

U-Type Speed Nuts perform the same fastening functions as J-Type, but are used where a full bearing surface on the lower leg is desired. They are self-retained in screw-receiving position to provide simple, rapid attachment of mating panels and cannot turn as the screw is driven.

Advance is a master-stocking distributor of ARaymond Tinnerman products. Visit advancecomponents.com  for more information, or call 972-446-5500 to learn more from Advance's great team of engineering solution professionals.

What Is Inside A Chainsaw. Fasteners, of course!

Here's another great image from Todd McLellan's book Things Come Apart. It's amazing how many small parts - fasteners - are used to hold such a powerful tool together.
A lot of A Raymond Tinnerman parts could be used for such an application. Advance is a master-stocking distributor of A Raymond Tinnerman. Call us today at 972-446-5500 for engineering solutions, quotes and speedy shipping! Advancecomponents.com

Things Come Apart- Look at all the fasteners!

Here's a great book - Things Come Apart by Todd McLellan.
Just looking at the amazing photographs is inspiring, and the text is clever as well.
It shows you how fasteners hold everything together, and what it takes to build something as simple as a drill or a lawnmower. It's a fascinating look inside. We'll be posting more photos from the book in future posts. Enjoy!
