What Is Inside A Chainsaw. Fasteners, of course!

Here's another great image from Todd McLellan's book Things Come Apart. It's amazing how many small parts - fasteners - are used to hold such a powerful tool together.
A lot of A Raymond Tinnerman parts could be used for such an application. Advance is a master-stocking distributor of A Raymond Tinnerman. Call us today at 972-446-5500 for engineering solutions, quotes and speedy shipping! Advancecomponents.com

Photographing A Raymond Tinnerman Fasteners

Photographing small fasteners is tough and tedious. Some are very tiny, and some are quite beautiful. It's important to label the part with the correct part number. I shoot them with the number first, then photograph them separately afterwards, that way I can reference the film, er….digital file….to find the right number for the right part.
A Raymond Tinnerman makes a lot of photogenic parts. If you have a good macro lens, you can make fasteners look great. Keep the light natural, use reflectors and a steady tripod…that's all you need to get a good shot of a tiny fastener.
